Mango (Mangifera indica) is a tropical fruit from Anarcadiaceae family. It is native from South Asia and India. There are several varieties, and in Brazil the most popular are Palmer, Tommy Atkins and Kent. However there are more exotic varieties which have an increasing demand such as Ataulfo, Apple and Vermelha Espadinha, just to name a few.
